Our “Join The Band ” INTRO TO MUSIC program is a fun way for your child to try guitar, piano, singing, and drums without committing to ongoing lessons right away.
In just four weeks, they’ll learn the basics and experience the fun of playing music with new friends.
What will my kids do in Intro to Music Class?
- INTRO TO MUSIC meets for four consecutive weeks as a group class.
- Our friendly studio environment encourages the kids to have fun trying new instruments.
- Each weekly class meets for 30 minutes.
- Every week we introduce a new instrument—guitar, piano, drums, and singing. We will also review what was learned the previous week.
- Listening skills. Including: identifying instruments by ear, song form, dynamics (loud and soft), rhythm styles, and tempo.
- We also introduce ear training exercises to help them understand what they hear when they listen to music.
- After the four-week program, you can enroll in our group or private lessons programs.
