Sessions for Teens & Kids
At Join The Band, you don’t just learn songs. You experience what it’s like to be in a real performing band where everyone plays a part in making it happen.
Sessions run for eight weeks. You rehearse three (or five) songs in a professional quality studio for the first seven weeks under the guidance of a professional musician and experienced teacher. On the eighth week, you get to show off the results of all your hard practice at a real gig in a club in front of a packed house at one of our famous Join The Band Concerts.
Whether you’ve been playing for a while or just starting out, we’ll get you in a band that’s just right for you. We’ll hook you up with other musicians about your age and ability level. Your teacher (Band Leader) will guide you through our proven JTB System where you’ll learn great skills, including:
- Playing well with others
- Improvising and playing solos
- Reading charts
- Using gear to get the right sound
- Practice and rehearsal techniques
- Performing in Front of a Live Audience!
