We have experienced professional musicians teaching and guiding the camps.

INTRO TO BAND INSTRUMENTS:
Music camp for kids with limited or no prior musical experience.
Monday thru Friday 9am to 2pm $525
Camp focuses on hands-on group lessons on guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and drums.
Including basic music skills such as ear training and rhythm.
Intro to digital recording. Hands on with Garage Band.
JAM BAND CAMP: and *Junior Band Jam Camp (11 and under)
All ages. Music camps are booked by age and playing level.
Camp weeks: July 6th, August 3rd, August 17th. Monday thru Friday: 12 and up. 9am-4pm $650
*Junior Jam Band Camp (11 and under 9am to 2pm) $525
Students will participate in these activities.

Listening and playing different styles of music.

Ear training and rhythm notation exercises.

Hands on digital recording using samples and live instruments.

How to set up a recording session.

Intro to song writing: Popular chord progressions, melody and song forms.

INFLUENCES OF ROCK WEEK:
All ages. Music camps are booked by age and playing level.
July 27th Monday thru Friday: 9am-4pm $650
Music Camp will focus on listening, learning and performing classic rock songs from the pioneers of rock and why they had such an influence on rock music.
Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Chuck Berry, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and more.
ADVANCED BAND CAMP: Audition required
Juy 13th, Monday thru Friday: 9am-4pm $675
Music camp prerequisites: Guitar, bassists, keys, horns – Basic knowledge of harmony and scales/modes
Drums: Experience playing a variety of different styles and music reading.
- Listening to and performing advanced jazz and rock fusion songs.
- Sight-reading charts.
- Ear training and rhythm notation exercises.
- Analyzing chord and scale relationships for improvisation and composition.
- Performance in odd meter time signatures.
- Digital recording techniques including setting up for a session, mic choices/placement, mixing and editing. Using samples.
- Professional guest speaker(s)
RECORDING SESSION CAMP: 13 and older.
Music camp weeks: July 20th and August 10th Monday thru Friday: $675 9am- 4pm.
Camp emphasis is an in depth look at the recording process using Pro Tools and/or Logic.
From setting up a session to mixing students will go through every aspect of a daily session.
Students will get hands on recording, mixing and editing experience in the studio.
Students will:
- Set up a room for a session. Including choosing mics and placement.
- Set a up a pro tool session on the computer.
- Track a live band
- Edit
- Mix
- Trouble shooting
LED ZEPPELIN CAMP WEEK
August 10th, Monday thru Friday 9am-3pm $575
Let's get the Led out!. One of the most influential bands to come out of the late 60's and 70's.
Play the tunes and discover how they developed their music. Listen and play the music of their peers to fully understand the depth of their music.
BEATLES CAMP WEEK
August 17th. Monday thru Friday 9am-3pm $575

Been bit by the Beatles bug? We have a fun week for you. All Beatles all day.
Learn the history and evolution of one the most important bands in rock n roll.
Play songs from all periods of their career.
