Dave GoldsteinDave Goldstein is a welcome member to the Join the Band staff of Band Leaders and private teachers. His teaching experience encompasses all styles. A true chameleon, Dave can switch gears effortlessly from Rock, Jazz, Blues, R&B at a moment’s notice. His ability to effectively teach all these styles is a great asset to both his students and to Join the Band.

Dave studied at the Berklee College of Music (Boston Mass.) and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Music Performance. He has also studied at Film scoring, composition, jazz arranging at the Eastman School of Music in New York and UCLA in California.

His professional credits include performance and/or recording with: Peaches and Herb, Redbone, Gary Burton, The Chi-Lites, The Platters, Lou Christie, Lou Donaldson, Brenton Wood, The Drifters, Al Wilson, The Shangri-Las, Cannibal and the Headhunters, The Coasters, Tierra, Al Boyd of the Temptations, and Benny Mardones

Composed and recorded music for VH1 Making The Band,  ABC All My Children, NBC Passions, national TV spots for Trimspa, and the independent film Lucifurs (Sandstorm Productions). Other recording projects  for the FirstCom Music library, Sony Records (with Randy Jackson producing) Jin-Ko Records (Japan), Building Block Entertainment, Pro-Duck Tunes, and Vista Entertainment Group
